Stephen Vella serves as Principal and CEO of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST), following a distinguished career within the institution spanning over two decades. An alumnus of the University of Malta and Falkirk College of Arts, Stephen Vella earned an MBA from Henley School of Management. Beginning as a Graphic Design and Photography instructor at the Salvatore Dimech School for Craftsmen in 1993, Stephen Vella rapidly ascended to Deputy Director by 2003, enhancing curriculum and operational efficiency. Subsequent roles included Director of the MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts and General Manager of MCAST Gateway to Industry, during which Stephen significantly raised MCAST's international profile. As Deputy Principal, Stephen Vella focused on business development and communications, spearheading growth initiatives and infrastructural projects. In September 2024, Stephen was promoted to Principal and CEO, reflecting his extensive contributions to vocational education and institutional success.
