Dr. David Saxton enjoys the variety associated with practicing orthopedics. He has a strong interest in Sports Medicine, but also takes care of general orthopedic needs. When it comes to patients, Dr. Saxton treats everyone like family, advising his patients as if members of his own family. He believes managing expectations for recovery is key and absolutely essential toward good outcomes for patients. As part of his ongoing commitment to Sports Medicine, Dr. Saxton works with high school, college and professional athletic teams. Currently, he serves as Head Team Physician for University of Central Oklahoma athletics. Dr. Saxton graduated from the United States Air Force Academy. During his senior year, he became a National Champion in parachuting. He has spent time as both a jumpmaster and instructor for parachuting. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Saxton was a hospital administrator. His experience as an administrator and involvement with physician staff led him to medical school.
