Tim Whittington is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at McCrae Tech since April 2025, Tim has a rich background in leading engineering teams and product strategies across various organizations. As a Tomcat Committer at The Apache Software Foundation since January 2011, Tim contributes to open-source initiatives. Previously, Tim held senior leadership roles at Orion Health, including Senior Vice President of Engineering and VP of Rhapsody and Data, overseeing product development and technical vision. Tim also served as Chief Technology Officer at Rhapsody and has held various roles in the healthcare technology sector since 1999. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science from the University of Auckland.
