Ling Lee

Ling Lee has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in the data industry. They began their career at Canadian Discovery Ltd. as a Completions Analyst in 2016. Ling then joined geoLOGIC systems ltd. in 2017 as a Completions Specialist, where they developed a strong understanding of well drilling and completion operations. In 2018, Ling moved into the role of Evaluations Engineer in Training at the same company, assisting with data analysis and database development projects. Ling then worked at GLJ Ltd. as a Data Analyst, where they developed efficient ETL pipelines using FME and SQL to extract, load, and analyze disparate data. Currently, Ling is working as a Data Developer at McDaniel, utilizing their skills in data processing and development.

Ling Lee completed a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering (With Distinction) from the University of Calgary from 2013 to 2018. Ling Lee then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Software Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary, starting in 2022 and graduating in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Ling Lee obtained a certification in "The Complete SQL Bootcamp: Go from Zero to Hero" from Udemy in January 2023.
