Peter Lu serves as a Partner and Global Head of the China Practice at McDermott Will & Emery since April 2023. Concurrently, Peter holds the position of Guest Lecturer at Tsinghua University's School of Law and has been an Adviser and Postgraduate Supervisor at Peking University since 2012. Peter's prior experience includes partnership at Baker McKenzie and counsel at White & Case LLP, along with roles as an arbitrator at the Xiamen Arbitration Commission and an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Herbert Smith Freehills. Educational credentials include a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from UCL, a Master of Science (MSc) in Project Analysis, Finance and Investment from the University of York, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Economics from the University of Nottingham.
