Brian Mullens

CFO, International at McDonald's

Brian Mullens was named Chief Financial Officer for McDonald's International in May 2021. Before that, Brian led McDonald’s market and regional Finance teams, ultimately covering all of the 120 markets where McDonald’s has restaurants. He was also responsible for global financial planning and analysis and menu pricing in his role as Senior Vice President, Global Finance.

Since joining McDonald’s in 1997, Brian has held numerous management roles in Finance in the U.S. and internationally.

Prior, he held the role of Senior Vice President - Corporate Controller where he led elements of the business’ turnaround agenda, including global franchising strategy and organizational structure. Prior to this role, Brian was Vice President – Finance and Assistant Corporate Controller.

In 2008, Brian served as Chief Financial Officer for McDonald’s UK and Northern Europe. In this role, he led the Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Restaurant Development and Legal functions and was responsible for key business initiatives, focusing on the continuous improvement and cost flexing of supply chain and spearheading the UK re-franchising strategy.

Prior to joining McDonald’s, Brian began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He graduated from Manchester University with a bachelor’s degree in management sciences.
