Chris Waight is currently the BIM Lead at McElhanney, a position held since 2025. Previously, they worked at Stantec from 2018 to 2025 as a Buildings Technologist and BIM specialist. Chris began their career in 2003 as a Drafting Technician and Jr. Project Manager at Glastech Glazing and later took on roles at Lockwood Bros Concrete Products as a Quality Assurance/Drafting Technician in 2007. Chris completed their education in Structural Drafting and Design at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and mastered AutoCAD at Kwantlen University College.
