Michael Thiessen

Michael Thiessen is the Division Manager at McElhanney, where they oversee a variety of municipal infrastructure projects. With extensive experience in project management, they have focused on the design and construction of drainage, water, sanitary, and road systems for both public and private clients. Michael's career began in carpentry, where they ensured safety and efficiency in project execution, transitioning to engineering roles that included water resources engineering and construction inspection. They hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Northern British Columbia and the University of British Columbia.
