Alan Welch

Alan Welch has extensive experience in the claims management sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Claims at McGriff since August 2017, where responsibilities include handling Inland and Ocean Marine, Construction, and Energy claims accounts. Prior to this role, Alan held various positions at Ingram Barge Company from August 1995 to February 2017, including Sr. Claims Manager, managing property and casualty claims for a major inland waterways operator. Earlier career experience includes a role as Marine Claims Specialist at Alexander & Alexander of Missouri from July 1987 to August 1995 and as a Dispatcher at Dravo Mechling Corp. in 1986-1987. Alan holds a degree in Management and Human Relations from Trevecca Nazarene University (2011-2013) and pursued studies at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 1979 to 1994.
