Nelson Raynor is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at McGriff since April 2017, Nelson also held the position of Vice President at BB&T Insurance Services Inc. from April 2017 to November 2024. Prior to that, Nelson was a Vice President and Commercial Lines Producer at Wells Fargo for 17 years, from March 2000 to April 2017. Earlier in the career, Nelson worked as an Account Executive in Sales, Underwriting, and Loss Control at LUA from 1997 to 2000. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health & Safety from East Carolina University, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
