Yin Lu

Yin Lu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, marketing, and social impact. Currently serving as a Partner at MCJ since December 2021, Yin Lu focuses on investments in energy transition and climate resiliency. Concurrently, involvement in PartnerHero as Operator in Residence and Board Member enhances skills in building and supporting remote teams. Previous roles include Director at the Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation, Managing Director at Khan Academy where fundraising of $30M was achieved, and Director of Marketing & Growth at Coursera, which saw significant expansion in content availability across languages. Additionally, Yin Lu co-founded Achieve!, a college preparation service for marginalized students, and held positions at Google and Microsoft, focusing on program design and marketing. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Urban Studies from UCLA.
