Donovan Smith

Donovan Smith, AICP, NCI, is a dedicated city planner with extensive experience in project management and urban planning. Currently serving as the Principal Planner at McKenna and the Chairperson of the City Planning Commission for the City of Detroit, they previously held the position of City Planner in Pontiac and worked as a Planning Aide for Huron-Clinton Metroparks. Donovan earned a Bachelor's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Eastern Michigan University. With a focus on organizational communication and efficient resource use, they are committed to advancing community projects and small business initiatives.
