The McKeown family is one of millions who share the heartbreaking experience of losing a loved one to Alzheimer’s disease. The large, close-knit family came together to care for their patriarch, William J. McKeown Jr., as he struggled, suffered, and in 1991, passed away from Alzheimer’s disease. Since 1992 their signature annual event, the McKeown Golf Classic, has grown to sell out three courses for the day of the event, which is capped by a dinner with a live and silent auction.
