Andre Bands

Andre Bands, CPA, is currently the Director of Technical Accounting at McKesson, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this role, they served as Director of Controls Strategy at McKesson and held various senior manager positions in lease and technical accounting. Andre was an Inspections Specialist at the PCAOB from 2014 to 2018 and worked as an Audit Manager at BDO USA, LLP between 2005 and 2014. Their career began in South Africa, where they were a trainee accountant at Rosspienaar and a fund accountant at Nedbank. Andre earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Law from the University of Pretoria and a B. Compt (Hons) in Accounting from the University of South Africa.
