Brian Belz, MSW, is the Director of State Government Affairs NE at McKesson, where they currently lead government relations strategies. Previously, Brian served as a Senior Project Associate at Policy Research Associates, Inc., managing a portfolio of state coalitions and consulting on various behavioral health issues. Brian also held roles as Healthcare Program Specialist at IPRO, Director of Government Relations at HMS, and Senior Principal at Gainwell Technologies, among others. Their extensive experience includes lobbying, developing policy positions, and facilitating care management services for individuals with serious mental illness. Brian earned a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services from SUNY New Paltz and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from SUNY Albany.
