Brian Branton

Brian Branton is a seasoned professional in federal government affairs, currently serving as Senior Director at McKesson since February 2025. Prior to this role, Brian was Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs (Public Affairs) at Novo Nordisk from January 2014 to February 2025. Brian also held the position of Chief of Staff for Congressman Jared Polis, now Governor of Colorado, from January 2009 to January 2014. Earlier experience includes Vice President of Congressional Relations at Strada Education Foundation and Chief of Staff positions for Congressman Joe Sestak and Congressman David Wu. Brian's legislative career began as Legislative Counsel for Congressman Rush Holt, followed by a role as Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Patsy Mink. Brian earned a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
