Godey Osawaru

Godey Osawaru, PhD, has extensive experience in the field of information technology and security. They worked at Verizon Wireless from 2013 to 2015 as a Tech Support MTS and later as a Network Operations Center Technician. Godey served as a Security Engineer at Populus Financial Group from 2018 to 2021, implementing IT security measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Currently, they are a Senior Information Security & Risk Management Analyst at McKesson, where they manage security projects and coordinate compliance efforts, successfully leading their team to achieve HITRUST certification. Godey is also pursuing a PhD in Information Technology with a focus on Information Security at the University of the Cumberlands, expected to conclude in 2024.
