Leann Smith

LeAnn Smith is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for McKesson Corporation. As a member of the Executive Operating Team, LeAnn is responsible for all human resources disciplines, including attracting, developing and retaining talent across the company, championing employee diversity and inclusion initiatives, and leading transformational change.

LeAnn Smith joined McKesson in May 2021 as Senior Vice President, Talent Management and Development, overseeing Leadership and Executive Development, Performance & Engagement, Talent and Succession Planning, Executive Talent Acquisition, and Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management. Previously, she served as Chief People Leader, Global Corporate Functions for Walmart, where she collaborated with C-Suite leaders on the company’s corporate transformation strategy. Prior to Walmart, LeAnn held various HR leadership roles at Accenture, working to align talent strategies to business outcomes and positioning the company as an employer of choice.

LeAnn graduated from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management and earned an Executive Master’s in Human Resource Management from Cornell University, ILR School.
