Tom Whalen

Tom Whalen is an accomplished sales leader with extensive experience in inside sales and strategic management across various industries, including healthcare and technology. Currently serving as the Director of Inside Sales - Extended Care at McKesson since March 2009, Tom oversees a department of sixty sales representatives and has responsibility for a $250M sales portfolio, focusing on strategic leadership, P&L management, contracts, and growth strategies. In addition to this role, Tom is an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University, teaching professional selling and persuasion techniques. Previous positions include Director of Inside Sales for Healthcare National Accounts at LEAF Commercial Capital, National Sales Manager at KeyBank Commercial, and various leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Financial Services. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Public Relations from Kean University.
