Davis Elder is a junior at Rice University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with a specialization in Sustainability and Energy Engineering, alongside a Business minor. They have gained practical experience as a Production Engineering Intern at Nouryon, where they worked on optimizing solvent recovery processes, and as a Strategy & Innovation Intern at Washington Gas, analyzing decarbonization solutions for natural gas infrastructure. In addition to their academic pursuits, Davis contributed to research in Professor Michael Wong's Catalysis and Nanomaterials Laboratory, synthesizing PdAu catalysts for vinyl acetate production. Throughout their foundation in high school, they demonstrated leadership by leading honor societies and initiating community service projects through Boy Scouts. Davis currently serves as an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company.
