Michael Chui

Michael Chui is a Senior Fellow at McKinsey & Company, where they lead research on the impact of technology on business and the economy, advising clients on various strategic initiatives. They previously served as Chief Information Officer for the City of Bloomington, overseeing significant IT system implementations and modernization efforts. Michael is also a founding executive director of HoosierNet, Inc., an Internet Service Provider that advanced local broadband services in Indiana. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from Indiana University Bloomington, where their dissertation explored web searching behaviors. As a frequent global conference speaker, their research has been recognized in leading publications worldwide.
