Wesley Aster

Wesley Aster is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment banking. Aster began a career as a Private Equity Summer Analyst at OpenGate Capital in 2014, followed by internships at Moelis & Company and Houlihan Lokey, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and private growth equity. Aster served as a Private Equity Analyst at Mesoamerica from 2019 to 2021 and later took on the role of Head of Finance for Foodology Inc in Mexico in 2021. In 2022, Aster transitioned to consulting, assisting early-stage startups with capital raising and finance functions across Latin America. Current roles include a Research Fellow at Quona Capital, developing an investment thesis, and an Associate position at McKinsey & Company since September 2025. Aster is pursuing an MBA at The Wharton School and a Master of Arts in International Studies at The Lauder Institute, along with additional MBA studies at INSEAD.
