Steve Ruby

Steve Ruby is currently the Chief Innovation Officer at McKinstry, a position held since October 2009, where responsibilities include advancing the construction and energy industry through innovative solutions and partnerships. Previously, Steve served as Chief Product Officer and held several roles at American Energy Assets, including Regional Director and Sr. Energy Engineer, focusing on Energy Savings Performance Contracts and developing software for building performance. Earlier experience includes roles at TXU, where energy savings projects were managed for large commercial clients, and at ServiceMaster as a Data Analyst prior to its acquisition. Steve began a career in technology and consulting at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Database and Web Application Developer. Steve Ruby earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University.
