Julia Eagles

Julia Eagles currently serves as Senior Program Officer for the Midwest Climate and Energy program at the McKnight Foundation, focusing on clean energy and building decarbonization grantmaking. Prior to this role, Julia was Associate Director of Utility and Regulatory Strategy at the Institute for Market Transformation, where responsibilities included developing utility strategies and engaging with local governments on equitable clean energy goals. Previous positions include Public Policy and Strategy Manager at Xcel Energy, where Julia produced a carbon reduction report and advocated for regulatory strategies, as well as roles in sustainability and research at various organizations, including the City of Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota. Julia holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Geography from Macalester College.
