Jonathan Powers

Jonathan Powers began their career as an attorney in 2015 after graduating from the University of Chicago Law School. Currently a Principal at McKool Smith, Jonathan's practice focuses on patent litigation and complex commercial disputes, representing a diverse clientele from solo inventors to multinational corporations. They have extensive experience in litigation, including pre-suit investigation, case strategy development, and trial presentation. Prior to their role at McKool Smith, Jonathan served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and completed a summer associate position at AZA. Jonathan also held experience as an Assistant Researcher at Baylor University and an LSAT Instructor.
