Anton Spickett

Anton Spickett has extensive work experience in various technical and consulting roles. Anton is currently working at mCloud Technologies Corp as the Lead Technical Solutions Architect, where they are responsible for scoping, designing, and implementing custom software solutions in multiple industries. Anton also mentors and directs the activities of new and existing staff members.

Prior to this role, Anton worked as a Technical Authority / Principal Consultant at mCloud Technologies Corp and at kanepi (acquired by mCloud Technologies Corp) as a Principal Consultant / Senior Project Services Consultant. In both positions, they provided technical consulting services for data integration, visualization, and reporting solutions in the mining and oil and gas industries. Anton also managed solution development and deployment teams and mentored staff members.

Before joining mCloud Technologies Corp, Anton was a Self-Employed IT Consultant, where they worked as a freelance consultant and subject matter expert for information technology products and services in the oil and gas industry. Anton provided functional design specifications, proposals, application designs, and customized software development. Anton also developed simplified data interfaces that significantly reduced load times.

Anton's earlier experience includes working as a BI Specialist at Maersk Oil, a Senior Consultant at kanepi Pte Ltd, and a Principal Consultant at P2 Energy Solutions. In these roles, they were involved in the design, implementation, and management of data integration, visualization, and reporting solutions for mining and oil and gas industries. Anton also provided technical leadership, managed solution development and deployment teams, and gathered requirements for customer solutions.

Before transitioning into the IT industry, Anton worked as a Project Engineer at Barclay Engineering, where they designed and oversaw the construction of acoustic solutions. Anton also worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Tyco Flow Control, designing and overseeing the construction of electro hydraulic systems.

Anton began their career as an Application Support Engineer at John Honey Hydraulics, where they provided general engineering support, CAD support, and sales for hydraulic components and systems.

Throughout their career, Anton has consistently demonstrated their expertise in technical and consulting roles, focusing on data integration, visualization, and reporting solutions in the mining and oil and gas industries. Anton has also proven their ability to mentor and manage teams, gather requirements, and provide time and cost estimates.

Anton Spickett pursued their education at Curtin University from 1995 to 1998. During this time, they successfully completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree with a specialization in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
