Dean Kuntz

Dean Kuntz has extensive work experience in software development and programming.

In 2005, they worked as the Lead .NET Developer/Analyst at Quartech Systems Limited, where they led the development team and developed a medical translation resource management and scheduling system. Dean also developed a backend reporting system for BC hospitals.

From 2007 to 2011, Dean worked as a Senior Programmer/Analyst at Fujitsu Consulting. During this time, they designed and developed an online payment system for employer insurance fees and redesigned a web-based employer portal. Dean also developed various features for windows and web-based regulation applications.

From 2011 to 2014, Dean worked as a C# Developer/Systems Analyst for the Department of Energy, Government of Alberta. Dean performed requirements analysis, developed code for a mineral taxation system, and organized requirements meetings.

From 2014 to 2015, Dean worked as a C# .NET VB.NET VB6 Developer at AB Data. Here, they addressed support issues, developed new features for billing applications, and redesigned a customer portal.

From 2015 to 2022, Dean worked as a Full Stack Developer C#. Dean designed and documented requirements for a restaurant android app and developed FX trading robots for MetaTrader 5. Dean also developed a web marketplace for smart contract developers and Chainlink cryptocurrency node operators.

Currently, Dean is working as a Senior Software Developer at mCloud Technologies Corp. Dean is designing and developing prototypes/pilot applications for new systems and transitioning the company to microservices based on Microsoft technologies.

Dean Kuntz has a history of education and certifications in the field of computer science and cloud computing. In 1990 to 1992, they obtained a Certificate in Data Processing from the University of Regina, with a focus on Computer Science. In 2019, they earned an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate degree from AWS, specializing in Cloud Computing. Additionally, in 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
