Alex Cavanaugh is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as Lead Systems Engineer at McMaster-Carr since March 2021, Alex leads the development of the first mobile version of mcmaster.com using ReactJS. Prior to this, experience includes positions at Northrop Grumman as both Software Engineer and Aerospace Systems Engineer, as well as a Technology Consulting Intern at PwC, where Alex focused on Salesforce service cloud implementations. Previous roles also include Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer at John Deere C&F and an Aeronautical Engineering Intern at Frasca International, Inc. Alex holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
