Alex Chan

Alex Chan is an experienced professional with a robust background in operations management, information security, and process engineering. Currently serving as Operations Manager for Information Security at McMaster-Carr since January 2019, Alex leads a team to enhance cybersecurity operations while previously holding roles such as Product Manager for Distribution Capacity and Project Manager for Warehouse Expansion. Alex’s expertise extends to prior positions at Ascend Performance Materials and Colgate-Palmolive, focusing on production technology, process development, and global supply chain improvements. Alex holds a Master of Science in Communication from Northwestern University, an MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, complemented by minors in Management and English.
