Clara Mitchell

Clara Mitchell is an accomplished content strategist and writing specialist with extensive experience in academia and content creation. Currently at McMaster-Carr, Clara focuses on content strategy and web content creation since March 2025. Concurrently, within the University of Chicago, Clara designs and teaches writing seminars for first-year students and advanced professional writing courses for graduate students. Previous roles include lecturing on technical writing at Northwestern University's School of Communication, where Clara developed coursework on ethics and communication, and serving as a lector and writing instructor at the University of Chicago. Clara's teaching experience also includes a position as a teaching fellow for undergraduate creative writing at Boston University. Clara holds a Master of Arts in Religion and Literature from the University of Chicago and a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from Boston University.
