Gabriel Ramirez

Gabriel Ramirez is currently a Systems Intern in Security Operations at McMaster-Carr, focusing on automating and enhancing the alerting system to identify potential network attacks, successfully automating over 15 processes to improve efficiency. Previously, Gabriel served as a Live Instructor at the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership, assisting graduate students in understanding intellectual property opportunities and challenges. Experience also includes a Software Intern role at Envision by WorldStrides and founding a remote tutoring service for K-12 students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier positions include Facilities Manager at Coldwater Crossing Residential Group and Academic Tutor at Kumon Learning Center. Gabriel is pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science at Rice University, with prior coursework in Engineering at Lehigh University and a GED from Parkland High School.
