Prashant Phalpher

Prashant Phalpher is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and healthcare leadership. Currently serving as a Staff Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brampton Civic Hospital since 2010, Prashant also holds roles as the President of the Physician Staff Association and Medical Director of Digital Health. Additionally, Prashant is the Chief of the Emergency Department at Brampton Civic Hospital and serves as an Executive Medical Advisor at FirstHx. In academia, Prashant has contributed as an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University and served on the Senior Medical Advisory Council at Toronto Metropolitan University. Previous leadership experience includes the role of Emergency Department Lead with Ontario Health. Prashant holds an Executive MBA focused on Global Health and Life Sciences from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, alongside a Doctor of Medicine from Queen's University and fellowships in family and emergency medicine.
