Simon Rua is an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing high-value construction projects. Currently employed at McNab since January 2023, Simon leads the Awaken Residences project, focusing on multi-rise luxury apartments for S&S Projects. Prior to this, Simon held Project Manager positions at Rua Constructions and Morris Property Group, where notable projects include the $34M Mermaid Plaza Redevelopment. Simon's extensive experience also includes an 11-year tenure at CPB Contractors as an Area Manager, overseeing significant projects such as the $120M Angau Hospital in Papua New Guinea. In earlier roles, Simon contributed to various projects as a Project Engineer and Site Engineer, showcasing expertise in contract administration and project management. Simon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management from Queensland University of Technology.
