Angela White

Angela White is an experienced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) professional currently serving as the Team Lead for the GIS Developer team at MCNC since July 2022. Angela's career includes roles at ONUG Communications, Inc., where responsibilities ranged from supervising a GIS team to managing GIS and CAD duties, and supporting outside plant engineering facility design. Previous experience includes a Laboratory Technician position at Tethis and a Python Research Assistant role at NC State University, where contributions involved developing automation scripts for map processes. Angela holds a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography and two Bachelor's degrees in Animal Sciences and Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Biology from North Carolina State University.
