Eric Kong

Eric Kong is currently the Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs for In Vitro Diagnostics at MCRA, an IQVIA business, where they develop regulatory strategies and manage junior team members. They hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where their doctoral research focused on antibiotic resistance and biofilm infections. Previously, Eric served as a Scientific Reviewer and Team Lead at the FDA, overseeing numerous COVID-19 test submissions. They also have experience in scientific communications and research, having worked as an Associate Scientist at Personal Genome Diagnostics and taught as an adjunct professor at Towson University.
