McSweeney's
Max Cohn is a seasoned writer with extensive experience in editorial roles across various media platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Writer at Le Truc since June 2024, Max has also contributed as a writer for The New Yorker and McSweeney's since 2017 and 2015, respectively. Previously, Max was a Supervising Writer at Comedy Central until May 2023 and held the positions of Senior Writer/Producer and Editorial Intern at CollegeHumor.com in 2015. Max's early career included editorial leadership as Editor-in-Chief at The Grape and experience as a News Reporter for the Cherwell Newspaper at the University of Oxford. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and History from Oberlin College and additional studies at the University of Oxford.

McSweeney’s is a publishing company based in San Francisco. As well as operating a daily humor website, we publish a short-story quarterly, a bimonthly magazine, and an ever-growing selection of books under various imprints. We are a fiscally sponsored project of SOMArts, a San Francisco nonprofit arts incubator.
