Ward Pate

Ward Pate is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in compliance auditing, information management, and environmental health and safety (EHS) initiatives. Currently serving as the Corporate Environmental Manager at McWane, Inc. since October 2005, Ward leads efforts across over 25 operating divisions globally, fostering relationships with management to implement various corporate EHS initiatives and systems. Previously, Ward held the position of Environmental Manager at McWane Cast Iron Pipe Co., where oversight of environmental compliance at a major iron foundry was a key responsibility. Ward began the career as an Environmental Engineer at US Steel from 1997 to 2002. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Samford University and Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Science and Biological Sciences from The University of West Alabama and the University of Mississippi, respectively.
