McWilliam Bags has been handmaking iconic striped holdalls, totes, and washbags in Crosshaven, Co. Cork since 1971. What started as a side project from our sailmaking business has become a brand trusted by everyone from schoolkids to Olympians.
We're a Certified B Corporation, recognised for our commitment to zero-waste design, sustainable materials, and local craftsmanship. Every bag is stitched by hand in our workshop overlooking Crosshaven harbour — the same harbour where our story began over 50 years ago.
We're the official kit bag supplier to Irish Sailing, and we work with companies including Johnson & Johnson, Stryker, BioMarin, Ardmore Shipping, Pepsi, Davy Group, and Nature Valley on corporate gifting and co-branded bags.
Our bags are built to last — many are still in daily use after 30 years. Custom embroidery, your company colours, your logo or crest — all with a 5-day turnaround from our Crosshaven workshop.
