We’re on a mission to elevate the standard of care through design.

MD Architects is a full-service, relationship-based architecture firm providing design solutions to veterinary and human healthcare markets. With studio locations in Seattle, Indianapolis, and Boston, our award-winning portfolio of animal-centric spaces and human healthcare facilities spans the U.S. and beyond.

Most recently, MD was honored by the renowned veterinary publication, dvm360, with a Merit Award (Pure Paws Veterinary Care) and won the Hospital Design of the Year Award (Habitat Veterinary Hospital) in the 2024 and 2025 Veterinary Hospital Design Competition. We’ve been recognized for our animal care design expertise in numerous national publications like Construction in Focus Magazine, PetVet Magazine, and Today’s Veterinary Business Magazine.

We’re proud of our People-First culture, which has landed us on IBJ's Best Places to Work in Indiana list for 2021, 2022, 2024, 2025, and 2026 and featured on their 2023 Fastest Growing Companies list.
