Alistair Smith

Alistair Smith is a dedicated technical services surveyor with extensive experience in building surveying and project management. Currently, Alistair works at MD Group as a Technical Services Surveyor, focusing on refurbishment assessments and site evaluations for latent defect warranty provision. Previous roles include Assistant Project Manager at jhai ltd, where responsibilities involved domestic project inspections, and Building Surveyor positions at Watts Group Limited and Faithful+Gould, assessing military properties for damp and mould issues and conducting stock condition assessments. Alistair began the career with a formative role at Atkins, gaining critical on-site experience, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Surveying from the University of the West of England and an HNC in Construction from the University of Plymouth.
