Mike Hovious, PE, is an accomplished Electrical Controls Engineer with a focus on understanding and meeting clients' needs. Currently serving as the Chapter Chair for the IEEE High Plains PES Chapter, they have extensive experience in developing, commissioning, and maintaining SCADA systems. Mike previously held roles as a Regional Engineer at Diamond Power International, where they were instrumental in enhancing performance across multiple thermal plants, and as a Senior Control Engineer at MD&A, leading significant retrofit projects. Mike earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
