Andrew Yan is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in VHDL design and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as a VHDL Designer at MDA since November 2021, Andrew has successfully completed multiple projects including designing radiation-protected modules and creating innovative testing scripts. Previous roles include a Biomedical Engineer Intern at Providence Health Care, where Andrew refined assessment processes for research devices, as well as positions at The University of British Columbia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Co-op Assistant. Andrew has also gained practical experience at Intel Corporation and Kardium Inc., developing and testing digital designs in VHDL. Andrew holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
