Dylan Johnston is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as a Flight Controller, Mission Designer, and Mission Systems Intermediate at MDA Space since April 2022. Prior to this role, Dylan worked as a Satellite Specialist at SED Systems, a division of Calian Ltd., from March 2020 to April 2022, and completed a Graduate Student Internship at UTC Aerospace Systems in 2018, where contributions were made towards the standardization of landing gear actuator designs. Additionally, Dylan gained research experience as a Summer Research Student at the Royal Military College of Canada in 2015. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Trinity College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Astrophysics from Queen's University.
