Eric Paterson

Eric Paterson, P.Eng. is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at MDA since October 2021. Prior to this, Eric held roles as an Intermediate Hardware Engineer and Junior Hardware Engineer at Leonardo DRS from April 2017 to October 2021, where responsibilities included end-to-end design of flight data recorder battery pack CCAs, re-spinning circuit cards, and mentoring co-op students, earning the Carleton University 2019 Co-op Employer of the Year award in the process. Eric's previous experience includes facilitating workshops at Carleton University, co-op roles at DRS Technology and Natural Resources Canada, and a supervisory position with the City of Ottawa. Eric holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Carleton University.
