Giri Pushpanathan, P.Eng. is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace sector. Since November 2004, Giri has served at MDA Space in various capacities, including Software Department Manager and Project Lead for flight software engineering, leading a team of over 10 engineers in the development of critical software for the Space Infrastructure DExtrous Robot (SPIDER) and overseeing software for the Exomars Rover's Actuator Drive Electronics module. Prior to this, Giri was a lecturer at Sheridan College, teaching object-oriented programming with a focus on Java. Giri holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University.
