Jonathan Chiang is a highly experienced robotics engineer currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at MDA Space since June 2017, where responsibilities include directing Canadarm2 and Dextre robotic operations aboard the International Space Station and mentoring junior analysts. Previous experience includes significant roles at the California Institute of Technology as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, focusing on atomistic simulations and laboratory instruction. Jonathan has also contributed to research at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and various engineering internships, including structural analysis at Space Systems/Loral. Jonathan holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech and a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University.
