Mark Whelan

Mark Whelan, P.Eng MBA, currently serves as the Manager of Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Facilities at MDA since July 2022. Prior to this role, Mark gained extensive experience at Eaton from June 2014 to June 2022, where responsibilities included Operations Manager for Assemblies, Materials Manager, Production Supervisor, and Product Specialist, while also participating in a Leadership Development Program. Mark played a key role in custom switchboard production and contributed to the redesign of LV switchgear assemblies through collaboration with various departments. Earlier experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Lab Developer at McMaster University, where multimedia presentations enhanced learning for over 150 students, and multiple co-op positions at L-3 WESCAM focusing on product design, troubleshooting, and mechanical engineering solutions. Mark holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor's in Engineering & Management from McMaster University.
