Ryan Heo is an accomplished engineer with a diverse background in electrical and mechatronic systems design. Currently serving as an EGSE Designer and Test Engineer I at MDA Space, Ryan has also previously held positions as a Co-Founder at Formyk, where a sensor-based wearable technology for motion tracking was developed, and as a Product Designer in Electrical at Dometic. Involvement with Team Phantom at SFU Formula SAE Electric as a Controls/Power Team Member and experience as an Acoustical Engineering Intern at BKL Consultants Ltd. further showcase Ryan's technical expertise. Additionally, a research experience as a Mechatronic Systems Engineer at Simon Fraser University involved designing antennas and fabricating RFID tags. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronic Systems Engineering from Simon Fraser University.
