Ryan Monteath

Ryan Monteath is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the engineering industry. Currently serving as a Sr. Member Of Technical Staff - Mechanical Design at MDA Space since February 2022, Ryan has previously held significant positions at iS5 Communications Inc., including Mechanical Engineering Team Lead and Lead Mechanical Engineer. Additional experience includes a tenure as a Mechanical Designer at Husky Injection Molding Systems and roles focusing on office floor plan design and technical sales at Corporate Express. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Manufacturing Engineering from Cape Breton University, a certificate in Design Leadership and Innovation from Delft University of Technology, and a Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma from Sheridan College. Currently pursuing a Master of Engineering Management at the University of Ottawa, Ryan combines technical expertise with leadership capabilities in the field of mechanical engineering.
