Simon Durocher

Simon Durocher is an experienced engineering professional with a demonstrated history in mechanical procurement, design, and manufacturing engineering. Currently serving as a Supervisor in Mechanical Procurement at MDA since July 2023, Simon also founded Hippiloo in April 2015, a venture that remains offline. Previously, Simon worked at MDA in various roles from September 2012 to October 2017, including Ground Support Equipment Conceptor, where responsibilities included conception, design, drafting, and tool alignment. Prior roles include overseeing production and quality in the composites department and providing engineering support in the thermal department. Simon also has experience in NC machining at Héroux-Devtek and as an Electronic Technician at Nortel Networks. Simon holds an Associate of Science degree in Engineering Design from Polytechnique Montréal, earned between 2007 and 2011.
